Susan Joseph

Susan Joseph, LL.B (Honours), graduated from the University of London (External) in 1993 and completed her CLP at University Malaya. She manages cases on civil litigation covering bankruptcy matters, probates, Letters of Administrations, debt collection and family law. With respect to conveyancing her experience covers, preparing Facility Agreements between Banks and Borrowers, creation of charge for the Bank, discharge of charge, and other related matters.

She also handles the preparation of Sale and Purchase Agreements/Deed of Assignment, the application of consent from relevant authorities on matters related to Sale and Purchase of property. She is also actively involved in the Kuala Lumpur Bar Corporate and Conveyancing Practice Committee and conducts seminars on Conveyancing Practice and Procedure, occasionally.

Selva Balan Sinnan

Selva Balan Sinnan, obtained his LL.B (Honours) from the University of London (External) in 1992, completed his CLP at University Malaya. Prior to his pupillage at M/s Sothi & Ang, He lectured law undergraduates at a renowned law college for four years.

While, his focus is on Civil Litigation, related to Contracts, Bankruptcy, Industrial Relation – Labour Law and Company Law, he also takes on criminal cases, randomly. His teaching experience fine-tuned his research and analytical skills, which enables him to write his submission with sound arguments. In matters relating to conveyancing, Selva Balan Sinnan has acquired sufficient knowledge and experience, especially on Sales and Purchase Agreement.

Balasundran Chinnathamby

Balasundran Chinnathamby worked as a Civil Engineer – University of Glasgow in 1979 – with Federal Land Development Authority (Felda), Kuala Lumpur City Hall, Indah Water Konsortium, Taylor Woodrow (M) Sdn. Bhd. – STAR- LRT project and also the private sector. In 1994, he obtained his LLB (Hons) from University of London, completing his CLP in 1998. He chambered with Susan Joseph at Azman Joseph & Associates and was admitted to the High Court of Malaya on 30 October 2015 and is on the Roll as Advocate & Solicitor.

As a Legal Assistant in the firm, he focuses on cases related to infrastructure works and has undertaken contract management and also the preparation of contract documents. His appointment as a sole arbitrator by the KL Regional Centre for Arbitration gives him the added role on matters concerning contract dispute on wastewater treatment plant. Currently, he is assisting the Selva Balan and Susan Joseph on civil, criminal litigation and conveyancing matters.
